I'm going to tell you and show you my latest obsession right after I tell you a little bit about my 19 year old little cousins Ryan (his birthday was this past week ^_^)

I was driving Ryan home, and these two girls pulled up next to us, and they look at him all giddy and smiling. Our window was rolled up. Ryan goes,

HAHA, the things that came out of his mouth made me laugh sooo hard!
Ask my 16 year old little sister Julia! She was in the back seat. LOL

I love my cousin, he's hilarious!! We went to Sonics last night for some ice cream ^_~ and had a great time just hanging out. He lives about 30 minutes away from me, so it's always fun when he's over. We were really close when we were little kids.

Since Ryan spent the whole day & night at my house, he met up with two of his (girl) friends, and they came over and I was in WOWWW, they were sooooo cute! Two tall, blonde, "scene" girls, with "scene" hair! LOL, I'm not sure if you all know what that is, but Nu Nu Doll, I know you do! ^_^

I am still in awe at my cousins two girl friends that were in front of my eyes yesterday!!

I feel so old...now, high schoolers look sooo different from when I was in school! They all have this haircut, and all wear tight jeans. LOL, not that I'm stalking the high school or anything..but last month when I would pick my sister up from school. I made these observations myself! I even texted Nu about it!!

Missing my Long Hair..

It's just one of those day when I'm feeling really down about myself..lol
I miss my long hair! I feel so uncomfortable with my short hair lately. It's too short to be tied up into a pony tail (or at least one that looks right!)

I cut my hair back in March..b/c I knew my bf liked long hair...LOL I wanted to test his love!!!
What it used to be...back when I lived in my 10x12 dorm room at Michigan State.

And I miss making my stupid faces alone in my dorm room, HAHAHA

And how it's short........

Short hair is hard for me to work with..I just throw a headband with a big ass bow on to distract you from my chubs face.hahaha short hair is never flattering when you got a nose like mine!!

I have to use at least 3 hair clips and 2 bobby pins for it all to stay up :(
It's been really hot outside too! I've just been indoors, apart from going to UPS or the USPS.
I did take my little sister (16) out to get some ice cream today. She got a twist, and I got a strawberry sundae :)

Then we dropped by my cousins' house (Dr. T) to give him some ice cream ^_^ haha I'm a suck up..he's my new "landlord" so I thought I'd start off on a good foot!

He's kind of tough when it comes to being professional in the workplace...
But hey..at least starting July 1st, we both can have a new lunch buddy ^_^

I need to change my schedule around. I've been staying up til 4am, making jewelry...chatting online...and waking up at noon each day feeling crummy.

I need to drink more water, I've been pretty dehydrated lately. My muscles are sore for no reason! It's been way too hot to to go out on the trail. I hate the smell of bugs, and sunlight lol

I dunno..that's how I would describe it!

I suspended new orders for DSKJewelry.com, I need some time to focus on the orders that have been placed. I got several custom orders, and I want to work on those. It's not very easy for me to work because I'm so unorganized! I don't work well with others around either..I need quiet time..I'm picky...and I do not like to be bothered lol. (mega bitch mode!) jk jk

This is the reason why I am renting a space, hopefully I can set up a stand in the dentist office too..get some sales ya know ;)

I just need to save money to pay off my credit card bills, and some money for my move.
It's never easy to pay bills..it breaks my heart!! At least my heart is happy with Minh..
I bought him 2 shirts from the Burberry outlet this past weekend. I couldn't resist their sale!
Plus..Minh always wears clothes from JC Penney's..sometimes he deserve a few nice things..like that iPod Touch I bought him...................................ooh the time will come when he will once again spoil me with nice things...I hope!!! But he's my pride and joy right now. LOL I have no idea why...if I'm not buying something for Minh, I'm buying it for my big bro Matt.. lol

I love to get them skin care for men..maybe it's cause I'm not a guy? I'm filling my buy skin care for men void? And sending it to them?? Who knows..I'm psycho.


Anyhow....

Blog sales are so much temptation..and just reading blog reviews about new products..that's just hard.. LOL

Anyhow..I just felt like writing my "diary" tonight.

Things I need to do tomorrow:

He was like Mr. Heartbreaker at Michigan State University lol. Maybe it's cause he's Taiwanese-American, 6'0?? Althetic? Drove a 350z? Anyhow..I'm lucky to have him as my "role model" hahahaa, we just give each other daily life advice every once in a while. Or he would lecture me A LOT..I appreciate it all though..really even though sometimes I would never listen to what he'd say.

Speaking of eyebrows..I've been growing mine out! They look crazy, I'll take a close up tomorrow, lol..my mom was starting to yell at me b/c I got them threaded too often that they got way too thin...

My audience was Ph. D's and Ph. D candidates! I want the only Senior Undergrad presenter in my session room. I got to meet Helen Zia this day too, and sit next to her at a banquet table! LOL

Minh & Steph's Favorite Shirt

*Basically a diary entry..so just look at the pictures, haha*

Minh and I are chatting online about our favorite t-shirt. Yes, OUR t-shirt.

So back in college, Minh had this plain dark navy blue Hollister t-shirt size L. All it is really is a navy blue t-shirt, with bold white letters H O L L I S T ER. I think I own like 5 things total from them my entire life. LOL, just not my store..too much my sister's age (16). I think this shirt was a Hollister shirt from when he was in undergrad...haha ancient! Minh's 26 (Dec 26, 1982). Steph (me) I'm 22 (April 4, 1987) I'm a young 22 :D. In case anyone was wondering lol. This shirt feels sooooo good. I stole it to wear a lot when I was going through my "I ate too much my clothes don't fit as comfortable as your shirt Minh stage" in college. HAHA. Our story?

Minh was a 2nd year law school at MSU, I was a Junior (undergrad) at MSU, we studied at the same library. MSU's Law School is also the Law Library/Business Library in one. It was basically proximity, haha and him offering to buy coffee and snacks..which then eventually lead to meals..aka lunch, dinner, and snacks! Which lead to DSK gaining 30lbs.

So back to our Hollister T-shirt story. I refused to buy new clothes once I stopped fitting into my normal clothes (which I still can't fit into today...yikes!) I realized the older I get, the harder it is for me to lose the LBS. Kind of freaky.

I couldn't afford to buy new clothes because I was pretty dependent on my parents. AKA, I had no money, all I did was focus on my academics. Mr. M. Tran decides to enter my life and trick me into growing needy and dependent on him for a good meal! Haha,he bribed me with food, and won. Now I love him more than anything really. I can't lie though as much as I tried to push him out of my life at the begininig I couldn't help but feel sad when he wasn't around or asking me out to do stuff. I LOVE TO RUN ERRANDS and shop and browse even the grocery stores. And yes, I fell in love with him randomly one day. HAHA, been stuck ever since (and I don't mind)!

We don't really have an anniversary date, it was around end of December/January 2007. Therefore, we declared January 1st our anniversary so we never forget it, lol. I'm not really a big "remember the date" kind of girl. I don't need a special day to feel special because I feel special each and everyday almost lol. Minh made me feel like a million bucks everyday we saw each other. Even when I couldn't fit into my clothes and stole that navy blue Hollister T of his. He would still take me to Ihop or Denny's whatever was open so we could eat late night while we studied. It was sweet, but now I despise him for it..I can't taste that food now, but I can feel the extra Denny's flab still in my arms & thighs!

He was just here in MI for my graduation and just took the shirt home, and he's wearing it tonight, haha. He knew I would be jealous because I LOVE that shirt! It's super quality material, and it feel so good against my skin, and it keeps the right places warm! LOL, like my shoulders.

Overall: I want your old, faded Hollister t-shirt back Minh!! That's my HG of bum around the house clothes. I swear I've posted pictures wear that shirt, or wore it in a video cause I'm a hobo/homeless casual stylish like that. I really want to make a new video, I've just been really ugly lately. hahaha

I caught the Heidi dog sleeping on my pillow!! She's actually still sleeping on it...GRRR
I'm not sure if many of you know my sleeping arrangements, lol. WELL
(You have got to love the simplicity of growing up Viet, or Asian..haha nothing fucking matches, ahhaha and we're okay with this...right? HAHA, not when I get my own place will I live with mixmatched bed sheets)

My parents house has 4 rooms,

-1 Mine, but now occupied by my Grandma (who moved in with us so she can get her cancer treatment in MI, it's easier to go to and from the hospital/dr. office in MI, rather than in busy CA) My Gma has gone through chemo, radiation, and how she has a disk of some sort inside her chest, so they're just monitoring that. She's 77, and her hair is growing back beautifully. She's actually the one who organizes all my jewelry chains for me after they arrived individually packaged. HAHA DSK does not have patience to deal with tangled chains!! Patience has never been my strong point, but it is hers! DSK blurb** The Sterling Silver Box Chains I use are Made in Italy, they're pretty fancy pants! That's why they look so elegant. RANDOM FACT RIGHT THURRRRR, it takes good eyes but if you have one of my Sterling Box Chains, look on the tag, it says Italy. Italy = EXOTIC to DSK, okay? I've never been, but my lil sister has..maybe one day I'll go with Minhers. We're planning a vacation to Disney World first week of August!!!

So back to my Grandma Hue

She used to own a "Home Depot" style business back in the old country lol (Vietnam), my Grandpa was an Aritecht, building, contractor etc. He built bridges, railroads in VN; he did a lot ishh back in his day. He's a smart man,speaks, reads, writes perfect English (HAHA he's better than some of his children), he's 77 or 78 and uses word, and clipart and make me a graduation card! haha I'll have to show you guys sometime. He's also a Volunteer Police Man..so yeah you better watch out. DSK's Grandpa Khuong will write you a ticket for parking in the handicap spot.

I saw his old photos. My Grandpa was really hot aka using the world handsome now cuase he's my grandpa! when he was my age (22). AHAHAHAHAHAHAA SERIOUSLY, my female cousins all had to agree when we went through his old pictures.
WOW, look at my tangent. I must be in DIARY writing mode.

That leaves me, the inflatable bed (which is wicked comfy for only $52 Walmart size Full) lol
I sleep in the middle of the living room!! Why isn't in the basement? Well....DSK workshop is all over this house..I drive my parents loco. But they put up with me.

How's home life after being away for 4 years?? TERRIBLE.

I'm so used to my freedom. I feel like I'm in jail with annoying cell mates!

Aquafina Chapstick + Quick Contest

Hi Friends! What's up? I have a few things to share, and a contest to introduce!

Aquafina chapstick is my HG. The last time I found it was at Big Lots, haha my bf wanted to go there to buy something random, I forget what it was, and I didn't have any chapstick with me so..I surfed the isle and found Aquafina chapstick, I was like "haha this is funny" to myself...

This chapstick has been my ALL time favorite chapstick! Hands down.
I ran out of it b/c it melted in my car..but I still use it, haha, gross I know.

BUT THEN!!
I took granny DSK to the Meijer pharmacy, and guess what I walk by....

AQUAFINA CHAPSTICK!! They started carrying these babies.

So of course I bought them ALL so I will never be sad again when it melts, I will go again tomorrow and see if they restocked, if they did..I'm going to buy em all!!
If they don't have them at my location, I will drive to the next Meijer!!

They're only $2.68/pack of 3!! and a bonus gloss!!
I've randomly hid one of these babies in some of the jewelry packages.
I put "surprises" most of the time, haha so you never know what you're gonna get! nen nen nen nehh

I think I'm only going to make purple available because purple is DSK's favorite color!!
They're Sterling Silver, I had bought the non-sterling silver version when I was "trial & error" buying..and it was just a no-no, I can't tolerate something that's not as shiny as it could be!
The sterling silver is a lot more expensive, haha I won't really make any money on these cell phone charms to tell you the truth; I think they're cute, and if I can deliver something cute, I will. Maybe I should make it only available to people who buy at least 1 necklace, earring, or bracelet, lol I dunno!!I don't want to sell cell phone charms for too expensive b/c you can just go anywhere and buy a cute one for cheap, hahaha

But I am using Swarovski Crystals + Sterling Silver "Cell Phone Finding" lol

I'll introduce these babies soon, I just want to get your feedback, do you think
girls would like these? I did get a wholesale offer from a cellphone company to mass produce these but I turned it down..TOO much work, and too much of doing the same thing, I'd rather make fun pieces, and interact with my DSK Jewelry customers on blog!
