Louis Vuitton Failed Me!

So..I order the LV Tivoli PM bag for my mom for Mother's Day (May 9). I put her shipping address, all that info. Then...they call her to verify her mailing address! What the heck!!! Then they called me after calling her...I'm just like...WHAT! I told the lady it was a Mother's Day gift..and she goes oh that's such a nice gift. lol

I was pretty much speechless.

Sighhh, oh well. My mom all called me..and was so excited and asked me what it was all about. And I just changed the subject to filing my quarterly business taxes. hahaha

But ...yeah another bad experience with the world's most valued luxury brand. Did you know that? LV has a profit of 19.8 BILLION dollars. There was a recent article on Luxist.

Anyhow...I want to share with you photos of my dream home! Yesterday was really nice out, and my friend and I were driving to QFC (grocery store), and I look up the mountain and I see a whole set of homes! I flipped out because I've never seen them before. Usually the clouds cover up part of the mountainside. Another, I begged my friend who was driving to go check it out. LoL, we drive up...and we enter the MOST GORGEOUS neighborhood called China Creek, The Terrace. The homes there are huge! There were 2 or 3 homes for sale, and they were listed for a bit short of a million. What do you think? Isn't a dream house?! The view is of a country club golf course, and mountains!!! It's so beautiful. Seattle really is green & gorgeous when it's warm outside. : ) Stalking luxury homes is definitely a hobby of mine. I look forward to the future so much.

In other news,
I pick up my apartment keys tomorrow!!!
I'm excited, but I'll be paying rent at two different places for the next two months lol.
I can't wait to show you my new apartment. It has a view of the Little Darling Strip Club (haha I'm serious!) , Space Needle, and sliver of Pudget Sound.
We're on the 15th floor..so we basically see a lot of interesting places, such as Little Darlings.
I need to get me some binoculars or something. jk jk ; )

In makeup news...I have a Sephora VIB 10% off.
I'm thinking about investing in some more MUFE HD Foundation.
I think it's such a great foundation! The best I've come across.
I don't even think NARS Sheer Glows is as good as MUFE HD.
I'll definitely be posting more beauty related topics soon.
I just need to settle, and organize my life (for the millionth time).

I can't wait to live large in a small downtown apartment with 24 hr concierge service and all.

Happy Earth Day! Plastic Earrings?

Since it's Earth Day, I have a totally unrelated topic to blog about today. And that topic is plastic earrings!!! I found these at the Japanese Daiso $1 store. I thought they were cool! When I went to Taiwan a few years back, they had a lot of earrings for sale in the night market with plastic studs. I thought it was awesome. My Taiwanese friend told me it prevents your ears from getting irritated like base metals. What do you think? Isn't it a cool idea?

The only flaw is if you shower with them...the plastic backing may reshape and they'd probably be impossible to take off. haha I've seen it happen, I had to use nail nippers to physically cut it off my friends ear. It was gross. lol Now I gotta run to my appointment with my bookkeeper! Business sucks sometimes, why are there so many formalities!?!??!!

Christian Louboutin Flats

The most attractive flats imo (in my opinion).

I tried these black Christian Louboutin flats on at Barney's, and fell in love with the way they look on my feet. The top is slanted so they make your toes look quite easy on the eyes. Well..they were easy on my eyes at least :P

Now that is what I call an attractive shoe!
At a handsome price of $495...
I remember when I thought my bf was crazy for buying a pair of $300 dress shoes.
Now who is the crazy one?

I saw these on the website...they look pretty cool..but I'm not really into snake skin.
It's kinda..sorta..creepy looking. The toe area...looks like a real anaconda's head!
Your Thoughts?

In an ideal world, I would own a pair of Louboutin's already. Sadly, my world is not yet ideal.

I have a few goals I want to accomplish before I splurge on my first pair of Christian Louboutins...whichever pair those might be...

For now...
I will find joy & love in trying them on at Nordstrom, and Barneys. lol
Every chance I get to slip on a pair, I go for it. Why not right? Free country!
The 5 minutes of bliss is worth the whole drive to the mall.

Ferrari, Puma, LV Bags I Regret

Hey ladies : )

Not too long ago, Minh and I were looking at Ferrari's (the car) for the hell of it. lol Anyhow, we went to see my CPA to get my business taxes taken care of, and he had a Ferrari jacket. I asked him if he had a Ferrari. He didn't, but I thought the jacket was so cool! Then Minh told me that Ferrari & Puma have a clothing line a few years now. I thought that was pretty cool. The last time I saw "Ferarri Clothing" was in Las Vegas at the Ferrari Store. lol

Anyhow, we went to Bellevue Square, and stopped by Puma. We picked up this jacket for Minh, he really likes it, and it looks good on him. I was jealous because our Puma store didn't carry much of anything for girls. Not that I really would want one....well maybe I secretly do. :)

We paid about $80-90 with tax for his jacket.
I want to get my dad one because they're so nice!

So...I was shopping online this morning at Puma.com.
They're having a sale on a lot of merchandise, I picked out a few things.
I have not added anything to cart yet, but this blog will be my way of getting
satisfaction from the say without indulging and going click happy at Puma.com

Don't you love how they cut prices 50% for a sale? lol

I really like this sweater/jacket above, but I think it would make me look frumpy from the cut of it. Not many know this, but I used to design sweatshirts, and jackets for my former High School's clothing line. I think 3 of my designs are still selling at the spirit store. It's really cool going to football games and seeing people wearing your design.

This belt would have been so cool if I was still in high school!
I'd totally buy it if I was younger.

Out of everything, I would get this bag for travel. It looks great and for $60!!!

I somewhat regret buying my LV Keepall 55...for $1250....
It's just NOT a practical bag for travel, as much as they'd like you to think it's made for travel...it's not. It's just made for looks. Minh & I hate carrying it around at the airport because it's just not comfy, nor can it fit much =/ Epic..Fail.

Another LV bag I regret buying...the Galliera GM
It's HUGE.
This is the bag my aunt hauled for me all the way from the LV store in Paris.
She lives there more than half the year. Minh think it's the worlds biggest handbag ever. lol
That's why he bought me a bag for my birthday because he was tired of seeing me carrying the Galliera GM around haha

To be honest...I have 3 other LV bags that I also regret.
All 3 Speedy's. I think I went though an LV phase. Now they just sit in my closet.
Maybe I just didn't like the choices I've made.
I do plan on getting my mom an LV bag for Mother's Day.
I know she wants one : )

We live & we learn. All I want to save for now is a home.
I don't need any more material goods...unless they're cosmetics! :P

In random Seattle news...
Whales & Sea Lions have been washing up on shore =/
They cut open the whale and found tons of trash inside the whale's stomach.
A golf bag, loads on plastic bags, and other man made materials : (

The Sea Lion that washed up on shore alive..just passed away. They're going to be running tests on the Sea Lion this week to see what's going on with the animals.

I think human pollution in Pudget Sound is hurting the animals.

No More Pores! La Mer Regenerating Serum

I splurge a couple months ago and bought myself the La Mer Regenerating Serum from Neiman Marcus online (they had their beauty event & there was a gift with purchase ^_^).
I've been using it for about 2 months now, and I have noticed a significant difference in my pore size.
This "beauty serum" has definitely helped my skin. I'm going to talk more about this product after I try it on my boyfriend. lol He has some acne scars & large pores, and if this will work on him. It's definitely worth 25,000 pennies : )

I also use samples of the La Mer Concentrate, and I loveeee the texture of that one.
I just don't really notice it doing anything for me, but make my face feel like a baby's bottom lol

Over the weekend, Minh and I went to CCO in Marysville, Washington...I left with nothing!
I was so proud of myself : ) I honestly wanted all the Photo Realism eyeshadow quads...They had them all there for $25.50! But...I controlled myself. I need to start using what I have before I invest in new cosmetic goodies.

I can't wait to order some extensions. My hair just does not grow as fast as I would like it to.

Sunday Brunch

Minh and I had the best brunch ever at Ivar's Salmon House.
It was so random, we couldn't find a parking spot on the Ave at UW at lunch time.
I told Minh I was not going to walk in my wedges, lol.
So he made fun of me, and we drove down towards Lake Union and stumbled across Ivar's Salmon House.

The brunch was amazing! We sat outside looking out into the lake. : )
We loved it. Everything was delicious!

Minh & I went to see Kick Ass tonight and it was awesome!

Watching that movie made me feel like I was in college again, I love that feeling!

Geo Blue! I'm -6.0, -6.0!!!

Benefit Erase Paste in Medium #2 (I'm NC37-NC40) I like it, it's really salmon-y in color. The coverage is amazing, just like my Amazing Concealer.

I also used the Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner for the first time today, and I personally don't like it.

The brush isn't that great...the formula of the gel is just weird...it's not dark enough for a gel liner in my opinion. I had to go back and forth 3-4 times to get it to be as black as I like my black liner.
I used my Jill Stuart eye jellie! I love that stuff, it's so damn shimmery/beautiful
Obviously, I look like wax hhaha check out my chest area.
Super blurred. Where is the happy medium! I don't know!
btw, I'm wearing peachstock lipstick by MAC!
I wish I knew how to do my eyebrows...I need to watch some tutorials or something.
I just feel that when I fill them in..I look so dramatic/weird. I don't know!
But I know leaving them the way they are looks weird as hell when I wear dramatic lashes.
I ordered another Anastasia Brow Pen (not the pencil that I already have), so I hope that will correct my problems.

For the eyeshadow, I used the Jill Stuart eye jelly as a base, then I used that new Give Me Gold eyeshadow quad I showed you yesterday.

Mascara is Guerlain, the bomb mascara.Cremsheen in Boy Bait & Lipstick in Peachstock!!!
I also back2mac and got a lipstick called Snob, can't wait to try that one tomorrow out and about.

I also used their blush quad, it smells like old lady (seriously)..but the colors are gorgeous!
I love how I can mix them, or use just one. They're HELLA pigmented, a lil goes a long way.
