Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch/Bag

I have been using my fun new Rebecca Minkoff bag for the past few weeks. :)
I really like it!  However, the chain and the clasp on the bag does weight it down a lot.  The quality of the bag is pretty good (it's made in China).  The dust bag matches the lining of the bag which is totally adorbs.  The chain strap is removable so you can convert the shoulder bag into a clutch.  The removable chain can also be used as a temporary dog leash! (It's not recommended to use the strap as a leash!) I actually did this yesterday after picking up Wally from the groomer.

I do want to get the Mini MAC ($195) size in the near future in Black with gold hardware.

My bag was the Soft/Pale Grey, with silver hardware, and I ordered it from Endless.com (by Amazon).  The bag retails for $295, but check back often for Endless.com's coupon codes!

I also picked up Subculture lipliner from MAC.  I really like it!  I haven't been very good at makeup blogger, but I will get back into it very soon. I have a lot of new makeup to share with you. :)

OPI: "Deutsche You Want Me Baby"

"Deutsche You Want Me Baby" is my favorite polish from the OPI Germany Collection.  It the absolute perfect color for Autumn!

If I could only pick one polish from this collection, it would be this one! :)

Wally came back from the groomer's a completely different dog!  He's ready to go wild at the dog park now! :)

OPI "Suzi and The 7 Dusseldorfs"

"Suzi & The 7 Dusseldorfs"
The most beautiful bright purple of all.
 OPI Germany Collection, Fall/Winter 2012

Nike Free Run 4 V2 (Black/Fireberry/Night Blue) are the most comfortable pair of running shoes ever!
I ordered 1/2 size up in this style.  I highly recommend them if you're in the market for a new pair of sneakers. :)

In other news!

One of our cars got sideswiped while parked on July 13th..(Friday). lol  It took the body shop one full month to fix it..so we had rental for a whole month!  The repairs came out to be around $3200+ (other party's insurance covered the damage).

On Saturday, M and I decided to go test drive cars for fun.

And on Sunday, we went back to the dealership and picked up a brand new, fully loaded white SUV (think soccer mom). We named her Angelique.

On Monday, another M and I went and got haircuts and pedicures. :) I cut my hair short. I'm a much happier person with short hair.  It's so nice to have hair that doesn't take all day to air dry!

On August 11th, Van & Tony got married!  My parents and cousin Dr. T flew out here for their wedding.

We started eating meat again on Van's wedding day.  My 1 month meat free month was completed. It's nice to know I can live just fine without eating meat.  We'll probably start doing Meatless Monday, or something like that each week.

I rejoined my local gym.  Minh and I wake up at 7:30am, and hit the fitness center together. :D It's cute.

My guilty pleasure is watching episodes K-Town on Youtube!

I'm still on the hunt for Essie's Mint Candy Apple nail polish!

My fridge is fully stocked with watermelon, Korean melon, lychees, logan, plums, nectarines, grapes, and berries!  I love Summer for the abundance of fresh fruit.

I can't seem to stop buying things lately.
Minh says I just like to spend money...and that I don't actually care about the things I buy.
I like to buy things for other people thinking they might like and need them!
I could get rid of 95% of the things I own and still be happy.

Things don't make me happy...accumulating things makes me happy?  Weird, right?
I want to get back into blogging and this post is a good start at that goal!

Have a wonderful Thursday everyone. :)
I'm going to go look for an old photo to join the #throwbackthursday hashtag event happening on Instagram right now!

OPI Germany Collection: "My Very First Knockwurst," and "Don't Pretzel My Buttons"

These two lovely nudes are from the upcoming OPI Germany collection for Fall/Winter 2012.
Available this month, August 2012!
"My Very First Knockwurst" with "Don't Pretzel My Buttons" as the accent nail. ^_^

 OPI "My Very First Knockwurst"
..and what a magical rosy-nude rendezvous it was!

 OPI "Don't Pretzel My Buttons"
A haute honey-beige that can always make you smile.

There's something very romantic about these two neutral polishes.
The formula of each bottle was perfect.  I applied two coats of each, and the creme finish dries beautifully.  If you like creme, neutral/nude polishes then these are made for you!
OPI always does a great job at making something for everyone in each of their larger collections.

I switched up the nail colors on my other hand for subtle fun change.

I noticed immediately that OPI "Don't Pretzel My Buttons" was very close to Deborah Lippmann's "Naked." "Naked" has more of a pink hue, but they're in the same nude family.

I can't wait to share the rest of the Germany collection with you in these upcoming weeks. :)

In yesterday news, boyfriend and I went on an evening walk around the neighborhood, and a cat (we named Tom) walked along side with us!  It was so funny!  Tom just kept following us until we got home, and played with us on our front steps.  He was super friendly, and the sweetest cat ever!  I can't wait to run into him again.  I used to see him all the time just chilling at his house.  I would love to get a cat one day, but I have one big goal to reach before that will happen!

My new cat iPhone case will just have to fill the cat void in my life. lol
I got this silicone Kiki cat iPhone case from eBay for $2.99 (shipping included)!
Thank you Jessy for telling me about this phone case.
It's an adorable phone case, but it smelled pretty bad when I first got it.  I had to let it air out for a week before the smell would fade.  It smelled like it would give you cancer.

The color isn't nearly as fuchsia pink as in the photos. It's more of a true pink in person.
Here is my current phone case. I don't know why but boyfriend and I both have white iPhones with black cases. My dog Timmy is on the lock screen.  Wally is on the wallpaper. :P
It was a great thin case, but it was pretty boring and starting to fall apart.
My case is chipping at the bottom.  You served me well first iPhone case, but now I must throw you away because I cannot be a hoarder anymore!
I'm pretty happy with my new phone case.  I'm still getting used to holding it.

Remember how cool skins were for your Myspace?  I feel every social media user obsesses over iPhone cases the same way. lol

It's a lot easier to find my phone now!  That's always a plus. ;)
