Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell Bronze Eyeshadow Palette

My Nordstrom order arrived yesterday! Yay!
I was super excited to meet my new Bobbi Brown Tortoise Shell e/s palette!
I picked up the Bronze palette. There's another one called Sand with lighter shadows as well.

Bronze comes with 8 shadows. Those shadows are,
Banana, Gold Nugget, Olive, Bronze
Tiger's Eye, Espresso, Copper Cocoa, Amber

These shadows are created to be layered, requires less blending.
I think it's a great palette for simple Summer eyes. :)

Banana eye shadow (buttery cream)
Gold Nugget Sparkle eye shadow (yellow gold).
Amber Shimmer Wash eye shadow (pink bronze).
Copper Cocoa Shimmer Wash eye shadow (chocolate brown).
Tiger's Eye Metallic eye shadow (golden copper).
Bronze Metallic eye shadow (true bronze).
Olive Sparkle eye shadow (golden green).
Espresso eye shadow (dark chocolate brown).

The metallic shadows are very impressive. These shadows are really fine (finely milled). They feel smooth, and apply effortlessly. I'll try to post up better swatches. Swatches are always super hard for me to capture for some reason! I took these with my Blackberry Bold. I did not use an eyeshadow primer. I think this palette would make a great gift for any special lady in your life.
I think my Mom would really like this palette.

Banana, Gold Nugget, Olive, Bronze, Tiger's Eye, Espresso, Copper Cocoa, Amber
The Bronze palette consists of all but one metallic shadow.
If you're into neutral, earthly metallic shadows, this is for you!

Banana doesn't even show up on my skin, it's on the far left. It's basically my skin color. lol
Were you ever called a "banana" growing up? I was!

This photo was taken with flash last night that's why it looks so different.

I really like the packaging, I love how the bottom layer slides out and folds up neatly to close. :)

The Tortoise Shell packaging is limited edition. Doesn't it look old school fancy? lol
That's how I would describe it.
