VitaMuffins VitaTops! My Favorite Snack

I learned about Vita Tops from the beautiful, fashion and lifestyle blogger: Andee of The Honeybee back in March of this year. I'll link her post here. I've known her through blog for quite some time now, and I can't get enough of her posts! She's one of my favorite bloggers. I love everything about her blog especially her Honeybee Health posts! :) I believe she's studying to become a dietician too! A big thank you to Andee for sharing your helpful and amazing health posts with everyone. ^_^

Now I have a question for you girls, have any of you tried VitaTops? I had such a hard time looking for them in stores at first. I was just looking at my local grocery stores in Washington, but most didn't carry them. I tweeted about where to buy VitaTops and they tweeted me back! lol. I think twitter is sweet! My fellow beauty blogger Jillian mention to me (also via twitter) that she's seen them at Costco, but hasn't yet tried them. **Jill says VitaTops aren't available at her Costco anymore. : / I'll check my Costco this weekend and let you know if I find any. :) All Costco's do carry different things. :D

I was lucky enough to find VitaTops at Target on sale for $4/box of 4 a couple months back. I snagged 4 boxes! You can find them in the freezer section. I've only found them at Target and Wholefoods so far in Washington State. Minh and I really like these 100 calorie snacks and we usually pack them with us when we go somewhere. I just throw them in my purse. I always pack one for him in the morning for work. By the time he's ready for lunch, the top is thawed and ready to eat.

The flavors are limited in store, but you can order them online at VitaMuffins/VitaTops official website: http://www.vitalicious.com/

Minh and I generously received a wonderful sampler package from Vitalicious. We both wanted to try more of their flavors since all we can find in store are currently Deep Chocolate, Cornbread, and Apple Crumb.
This is what a VitaTops box looks like, I bought these from Target.

The Cornbread Vitatop tastes delicious toasted. I've also blended up the Chocolate tops and made a dessert with cool whip & pudding out of it. Minh really liked that. :) I learned that recipe from the Rachel Ray show when she had a guest who was talking about healthier snacks and desserts. I love that they're nutritional and packed with fiber. I really hope more stores start carrying them!

Here's what I received in the VitaMuffin Sampler Package:

"Don't settle for smaller portions! Vitalicious products are just 100 calories per 2oz. serving size. Our low fat, high fiber products contain the right balance of nutrients, protein & wholesome natural ingredients that satisfy your hunger and conquer your cravings. So go ahead and share with the ones you love!

This Pack contains 24 all natural 100 calorie muffin tops and brownies:

4 Deep & Velvety VitaBrownies <--Favorite!!!
2 Chocolate Mint VitaTops <-- Fav!!
2 Banana Nut VitaTops
2 Triple Chocolate Chunk VitaTops
2 Deep Chocolate VitaTops
2 Fudgy Peanut Butter Chip VitaTops <--Fav!!!
2 Golden Corn VitaTops <-- Delicious toasted!
2 CranBran VitaTops
2 Apple Crumb VitaTops
2 RaisinBran VitaTops
2 Pumpkin Spice New! <--Fav!

This product is Kosher and contains no artificial additives or preservatives therefore we recommend freezing upon receipt."

You must remember to put them in the freezer, they're perishable. Just take them out to thaw or pop them in the toaster before enjoying them. You can eat them frozen as well, but I like mine thawed. :) I did see a recipe where someone added some cool whip between two of their VitaTops for an "ice cream sandwhich." My favorites definitely are the more dessert-like tops. :)
They don't taste very sweet, which I really like. I'm not a big fan of overly sweet foods.
Minh says they taste like a muffin without all the added sugar.
This is what the sampler package looks likes. :D
They're delicious muffin tops!! lol The only part many people eat, I'm sure. :)
I know my little sister only eats the top parts. haha
VitaTops Apple Crumb = delicious! I like non-chocolate Tops in the morning best.
All the VitaTops are 100 calories and there's this cute diagram on the right hand side of their website with a man walking. It takes about 13-15 minutes to burn off one delicious VitaTop. :)
Let's not even go there with Oreos. lol
I was super exicted to find the Fudge Peanut Butter Chip top!!
I've been wanting to try it forever. It sounded the best to me out of all the flavors.

The VitaBrownie is hands down, the best of all! It's super moist and taste so good. These taste a bit sweeter than any VitaTop in my opinion.
Half eaten because it taste so darn good.
It's a 100 calorie brownie/cake snack. :D
Super soft and tasty! :) I love that they taste so fresh and fluffy, I think that's the best part.
I hope they start carrying these in stores. If you haven't tried VitaTops, I suggest the Chocolate flavors, and the Brownies to try first. :D

My favorites from the Sampler package, Chocolate Mint, Fudge Peanut Butter Chip, Pumpkin Spice, and the VitaBrownie!

Chocolate Mint
Fudgy Peanut Butter Chip
Pumpkin Spice

Overall, Vitalicious makes these really amazing gilt free treats. You'd just have to try to believe.

VitaTops are helping Minh & Steph get it right. By that I mean..get healthy! lol
They're very satisfying, taste great, and is a wonderful healthier snack option. Eprops to the inventor. :D

Check out their website, and read more about Vitalicious products. It's a great website to navigate, my little sister is thoroughly impressed and can't wait to try her first VitaTops.
