"I Eat Mainely Lobster"
OPI Touring America, Fall 2011 Collection
I love the names of OPI nail polishes. They make me smile because they're just so darn witty.
I remember reading an article in a nail magazine (Nail Pro) back in the day (of hanging out in my Madre's nail salon) about the creative talent behind the names of each OPI collection. The staff at OPI would throw themed parties in their conference room and throw out fun words and ideas to come up with the polish names.
How fun right? Who wouldn't want that job? I know I did!

I would personally describe "I Eat Mainely Lobster" as a vibrant coral orange polish with beautiful hints of red and pink shimmer. The shimmer is very subtle so I wouldn't say it's a coral shimmer polish, but more of a bright cream based polish with tiny tiny shimmer. I don't know if you know of OPI "Cajun Shrimp" polish, but it reminds me a lot of that only with shimmer (and maybe a shade or two different base color). This polish and "Cajun Shrimp" look amazingggg on tan skin.
I used Deborah Lippmann Ridge Filler Base Coat and Seche Vite Top Coat.
This combo never fails me so I'm going to stick with it. : )

A girl at Starbucks complimented my nail polish today. :)
That made my day. Thank you Starbucks girl.
