My friends have been saying I'm boring for not having much Halloween spirit.Well, what now! lol
Just for fun : )
Played around with my new MAC Cranberry, Magnetic Field, Time and Space eye shadows & some Lancome Artliner. Lips is L'Oreal Fairest Nude w/ a dior gloss. Cheeks is MAC Stereo Rose (not that you can tell from this photo). Will have real pictures posted later. Just wanted to do a fast Macbook pictures so I can show my friend "my version" of a vampire since she's being one for Halloween ^^Better photos,
Ignore my crappy eyebrows, I didn't fill them in, and haven't had them threaded in a while..
But I am loving MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow!!! I love with with Magnetic Field e/s :D
I had my lashes filled last week, I'm going back next week already to get them filled again b/c I'm greedy and want more & fuller lashes. Fills are $50 (1 hour service), Full Set of lash extensions is $150 (2 hour service). I almost feel like lash extensions are addicting. I can't imagine having my normal lashes again!
I got longer lashes this time, but she's going to go back and fill them in next week to make them more full.
It's fun to play with makeup after you haven't in a few days :D
lol, I hope you all have fun on Halloween. I'm be at either Snoqualmie or Muckleshoot casino..maybe both. Who knows! Whichever is having more fun, I'm there : )

I toned down the crazy eye makeup by wiping off the winged eye liner. Sometimes real life happens and you have to go out in public to accomplish daily life tasks...without looking too crazy.
I just noticed this, but I wiped off my lipstick & gloss too..haha it was probably feeding time. I can't stand eating with lipstick or gloss on .. But that's my normal lip color, a bit pigmented b/c I used vasaline a lot growing up and my mom thinks it stained my lips darker/almost purple around around the lipline..it happened to my aunt too..also a life time vasaline user. LOL I used to be soooo dependent on vasaline as a kid because I DIDN'T know CHAPSTICK existed. Gosh. I had a jar of vasaline with me in my desk in the 5th grade, I was so embarrassed b/c it was HUGE SIZE not even small. Thanks mom.

ReplyDeletei have always wanted to get false eye lashes but it's a bit pricey. how long do they last?
ReplyDelete@Anita they're mink lash extensions, they can last up to 3-4 months, but if you want to keep them long term, you should get fills every 3-4 weeks. Or you can do every 2 weeks to have fuller, more dramatic lashes.
ReplyDelete@Gjee I just curled some if with a large 2" barrel curling iron. I half assed it b/c I wanted it a lil messy. lol Plus it was all pushed to one side so it looks like there's more hair hahaha

ReplyDeleteDont worry, your not the only person who uses vaseline! I use them on my lips now and them. It does moisture it. I'm sure you know this trick, but when you have flakey lips and dead skin, vaseline and sugar together makes a nice lip scrub! I've tried it and it works fantastic! :D Cheap and easy method.
Ooh, you've got some good editing skills. My skills are soo bad..all I know is to add some text onto pictures XD

Haha, I hae the dark line around my lips too but I don't use Vaseline on my lips.
One of my coworkers who had her lash extensions done said the exact same thing. She could never go back to her natural lashes. She's had 'em for a year now and she looks fabulous! And so do you. I love your vampire pictures. Lol :)

ReplyDeletei'm pretty boring for halloween too.. me and my hubby are old souls at heart.. i rather be passing out candy to little children on halloween then go out and party.. last year, there were so many kids that i had to go out to rite aid and buy more candy!! lol.. probably because i give too much.. oh well.. =P
AHHHH I never thought about going to the Casino on Halloween! That is such a good idea! I am not too big into house parties or anything and the casino is not only fun, but on Halloween I bet it will be even better! Are you going to dress up when you go out!?

ReplyDeletehaha nice halloween spirit! Should've made Minh sparkle--just like twilight. Yea, sometimes drastic makeup for everyday wear is just a little too out there. I once saw this latina chick at Winco's--she's very pretty, but her makeup was "interesting". Her wing came from her lower eyelid out and upward. Thought it was some tatoo for a while. Didn't wanna look like I was mean mugging her (cuz I was giving her like quadruple takes), so I approached her to say cool eye makeup. :)

I met up w/ my friend the other week who I hadn't seen in awhile, and she'd been using Latisse. omg I couldn't stop staring at her lashes, but yours amaze me even more. I want longer lashes!! hahah I always photoshop on false lashes for most of my EOTDs but it would be nice just to have them already.
I went through a vaseline phase too! It was a pretty short one, because eventually I figured out that lip products w/ petroleum weren't working out for me so I stopped. I never invested in the big jar though, but I do have a (I think 16 oz?) jar of Aquaphor sitting in my closet that I will probably never use lol.
@Gjee yeah I'm growing out my hair :D It grows super slow tho! ugh!

ReplyDeleteI use Vaseline for my lashes sometimes and honestly, it works SO much better than the mascaras I've tried. I still have to go makeup shopping to restock my supples. I've been meaning to try the YSL one you recommended a while ago. Are you still using it? : )

I have lash extensions too. Have had them for about 3 months now I think. I love them! Where do you go? I've been to one place in Belltown but the lady I go to now is in Renton. It's a bitch getting over there but she does a great job.
