Jill Stuart 04 Aqua Crystal Eyeshadow Palette
Isn't the packaging just gorgeous? I believe Jill Stuart eyeshadow palettes go for around $50-67 depending on where buy them from online. I know they're available at Jill Stuart (store) in NYC.I've always ordered my Jill Stuart goodies online. They're actually pretty hard to get from my past experience.
The JS makeup is made in Japan. From my knowledge Jill Stuart is an American designer who started her beauty & cosmetics line in Japan. I've noticed several makeup companies have done that in the past...Japanese women must love their makeup in Japan! :D
I guess they have a more affluent market over there for high ends cosmetics.
I personally believe Jill Stuart shadows & jelly shadows are just the prettiest beautifying products ever when it comes to shimmer and sparkles.
It's a definitely go to on the days when you just want to feel princessy : )
Jill Stuart 04 Aqua Crystal Eyeshadow PaletteI did not use an eyeshadow base (I don't often use one anymore for some reason).
Just foundation & some concealer does the trick : )
I will do a another post on the MAC eyeliner pencil I've been using : )
It's not black, it's a blue and I've been a big fan of it these past few weeks.

I also got my GANGSTER Snow White vinyl decal for my Macbook in the mail : )It was $4.99 + $1 shipping = $5.99
I bought it on Etsy from this seller HERE, they're pretty awesome because they included a free small baby panda decal. I haven't decided where to put it yet though ^_^

This is a gorgeous EOTD! I've never used this brand before...where do your purchase your Jill Stuart online? The eye shadows look pretty pigmented, too...that's always a plus when I'm trying a new brand!

I have one JS palette, can't even remember where I got it from. i think from a beauty blog sale. When it came, it looked so pretty, I didnt even want to use it. Still want to try the jelly eye shines or whatever they are called. They look like they would be a good base for the shadows.

ReplyDeleteGreat post! I've never heard of Jill Stuart Palettes so I'm happy I follow you, haha. The colors are gorgeous but not really my style because I like more of the natural look. However, once Is saw how you used the palette you made it very simply but beautiful.

LOL... I wonder what happened to that purse.. Oh well. Like all materialistic things, newer things come and we forget the old... lol.. Most of the times..

ReplyDeleteWow, the eyeshadows look absolutely fabulous! It makes your eyes pop even more! They kinda look like Victoria's Secret sheer eyeshadow in 24K and Provocateur. They're sheer but very shimmery. Perfect for summer and winter looks.

Yeah I agree with you Steph that the Jill Stuart packaging is very goregous. Look's like high end makeup. heheh! But it looks very shimmery. :/ Does it have a lot of fall outs? Would you repurchase it?

ReplyDeleteI love makeup from Japan for some reason. They just have more variety of makeup than over in the US-in my opinion.
Looking good beautiful! I like your brows, they frame your face really nicely. I used to go to the Brow Art when she was located in those small stands in the middle of the mall--It was like 12 bucks, now it's 15? That and they weren't pushy about trying to sell you a membership. Though I've noticed they offer different prices for different people/at diff times. Like I went and she offered my 45$/3months membership, and my friend who went a few hours after me said they told her $55/3months. So go figure.
I feel like the service at the place has declined too. The short lady, she's insanely fast and really professional--but sometimes it can hurt. The taller chick, she's alot slower and doesn't make it feel like she's rushing you...but she cuts you. =(
I am thinking of trying the Karmissie Threader--do it on my own. lol

ReplyDeleteThe JS palette is SO pretty! I just absolutely love the packaging. It's so precious to have. It even makes a cheapy brush thing look good :) The palette reminds me of those pretty credit card holders or business card holders. I love the front design :D

The eyeshadow palette is gorgeous! I love all four colors, not too dark but just enough color for a shimmery difference.
ReplyDeletehahah i love apple's branding. they give you a few sounds to choose from but the other ones suck so you end up defaulting to the "apple" sound.. then whenever you hear it, you think immediately either "is that my phone?" or "oh, iphone". same with the apple for the logo, so simple and clean yet so undeniably apple. and it just shows.. it's so easy to accessorize the apple (like with your decal) because it's so SIMPLE. i guess it shows that they're now known as a DESIGN company versus being just a computer manufacturing company.. y'know? gah i wish i had their branding team :P
