January Nails

This blackberry pic captures the glitter a lot better than my dslr.

I did a stripe of pink glitter down the middle and two stripes of silver on both sides of the pink glitter.
I was surprised that Orly Rage polish stayed on my nails much longer than the Silver or Gold polish

I liked this combination a lot.
Pink, Orange, Red, Silver, and Gold

Glitter Blue, Green, Pink (that I used), Orange

Silver & Gold definitely are the two must haves!
But I do love the Pink & the Green Glitter just as much :)
Polka dots on the toes!  Please excuse the fact that I haven't had a pedicure in a few months haha

I needed an affordable pure white polish and I picked up the French White Tip Pro by Rimmel. I had no idea the brush was an "art" brush (thin).  I'm happy!  I can't wait to draw "line" decorations on my nails in the near future.  I used to be very much into nail art when I was in high school.  I spent way too much time at my Mom's nail salon growing up.
The dotting tools come in a set of 5, all different sizes.  I remember my mom had these at her nail salon and I would love using them.  I'm so glad to own my own set! :)  It really makes it easier to dot polish and it's also easier to clean. You can also make dots with a toothpick, but it's less precise because the polish builds up on the tooth pick so your dots are more likely to be different sizes.  I like wiping off the tool after every few dots.  :D

You can find the set of 5 dotting tools for under $5 HERE (www.bornprettystore.com). I read that they are offering free shipping worldwide right now.  I like this store for nail stuff mostly.  You can find some good deals.  I told my Mom about it and she's interested in the glitter liners. I couldn't find them on the site anymore, but maybe I'm just not searching for the right term.  I wonder if they're sold out.  Anyhow!  That's my nail post :D  I'm loving my toes, they remind me of summer!  I can't wait for summer to arrive.  I absolutely dislike winter!

  1. WOW! I love both your nails AND toes! You are SO good at it! Both look so professional-- your toe polish and design is perfect!! The dots and everything!!

  5. @susan I don't change my toe polish that often in the winter. But I felt like spending time on my toes today for some reason lol. I haven't done polka dots in a while. I glad I have a dotting tool now! I can't wait to try it with more colors :D

@siwing it's more noticeable in person, I wish I could show you!! lol It's very sparkly just the way I like my nails :D

@Pearls&Politics I did spend my teen years living in a nail salon lol

  6. I still paint my toenails during the winter because I take off my socks at people's houses (sometimes). ^_^ The polka-dots remind me of the beach for some reason. :D

  11. The polka dots toes are super cute! I should try them sometimes. I'm going to check out my local nail supply store to see if they carry the dotting tools. If they do, i'm going to pick some up as well as the white polish.

What is your favorite nail polish brand?
