Nicole by OPI: Green Up Your Act!

"Green Up Your Act!" is from the Nicole by OPI Fall 2011 Collection (available at Target).

I would describe it as a sophisticated deep teal. It appears a bit lighter in my photos due to the lighting, but it's a true dark creme teal polish. I actually prefer the shade in the photo. Google Image "Green Up Your Act!" to see more swatches from other bloggers. It seems to be one of those shades that look different on different skin tones. I really like the Nicole brushes because they're less dense than most nail polishes. You also get a more thin, even application with the skinnier nail polish brush. I used 2 thin yet opaque coats. : )

4 polishes from the Nicole by OPI Fall 2011 were sent to me for review, and I will share the rest with you soon. There's a really pretty sparkly deep blue in the bunch that I know you will love!
"Green Up Your Act!"
I've been really impressed by Nicole by OPI, and Sephora by OPI this year.
I am really looking forward to the "Kardashian Kollection" this Fall as well. : )
Go Green!

In random news, my debit card number was stolen yet again this year. lol This time it was a different debit card, but from the same bank.
I bank through Bank of America, but I'm not sure if it has anything to do with them. They've been helpful with early detection and blocking my card before I even call in to report the issue.
I remember the last time it happened someone charged $500+ at Walmart in Atlanta. lol
This time someone charged $40+ for Itunes in a DIFFERENT country, so I was charged an International fee. I spent yesterday morning on the phone with BOA claims. One of the representatives was like.."$40 is a lot to spend on Itunes!" lol

I can see why the "scammers" would pick Itunes to shop. What can Itunes really do after they've already downloaded the product (music or movies). I also googled the charge, and I guess it's a very common scam in practice.

I remember reading about Michael's Arts & Crafts having a security breach a few months ago..and guess where I shopped a few days ago with my debit card? Michael's! Walmart also is known for these type of security problems. Remember, they don't need your physical credit or debit card to be able to steal your information. I'm going to switch back to using mainly my credit card. It's much easier to reverse unauthorized fees with a credit card rather than a debit card. I'm going to start using my credit card or be super Asian and just spend cash. I rather not spend my day being paranoid about the possibility of someone using my card number.

My bank says they're sending me some paperwork to fill out and return. Even though they immediately refunded me the charged amount, it's only a temporary refund until they can complete the "investigation." In the mean time, I have to wait for some paperwork from the bank. I need to submit the claim paperwork before a certain time frame before they can permanently give me my money bank. The process in total can take up to 90 days. That's not something you really want to have in the back of your mind for months. I was a victim of debit card theft again..and it's lamesauce. lol Overall, I'm glad I monitor my bank accounts on a daily basis. I just want to remind everyone to just check your bank statements every so often.

Be safe everyone!
