Success is...

...cooking your first poached egg!

The tricks of the trade (or so I've read)

1 egg
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp spoon vinegar
& heat water up right under boiling point

Gently crack the egg into a large cooking spoon,
set egg down gently in the pot, and ta da!

We're so lucky to know someone who raises chickens, we get a dozen fresh eggs every week. :)

I've been addicted to spinach since I've been home.
I love spinach with chopped up onions, cherry tomatoes, avocado, chopped apples & my homemade dressing.

*Did you know: Onions have no taste? Only smell, they have the texture of an apple.* ~ 3rd grade knowledge right thurrr

Steph's fav homemade dressing:

-1 tsp avocado
-1 tsp dijon mustard
-extra virgin olive oil
-splash of red wine vinegar
-Maggie seasoning sauce
-pepper

*I learned that there's a difference between Olive Oil & Extra Virgin Olive Oil, haha all these years. You cook with Olive Oil.. EVOO is usually consumed raw.* (Even though you can cook with EVOO like Rachael Ray)

Just whisk away & pour on top of your salad and enjoy.

Your homemade salad dressing sounds yummy, but where do you find "Maggie seasoning sauce"?

  5. Poached eggs always aesthetically look good to me, but I can never bring myself to actually eat one. LOL. I have this thing about runny yolks. It has to be scrambled or hard boiled for me! LOL! But your dish sure LOOKS good! :)
