Essie: Where's My Chauffeur, MistoBox

 Essie Where's My Chauffeur
Essie Winter Collection 2012 (Available at Target)
Love it when I get lucky enough to snag the last one on display. ^_^
My friend Lisa told me it's the closest Essie polish to Tiffany blue yet.
What do you think? It's a pretty good match, huh?

I finally got my hands on MCA at Ulta.
I think Essie makes some of the prettiest teals polishes.
I also found this adorbs Kleenex snowman at Target.

More Deborah Lippmann, Essie Finds at TJ Maxx!

Earlier this week, Monday to be exact, Marisa and I went to TJ Maxx (Factoria) to continue my hobby search for Deborah Lippmann and Essie nail polishes. :D
Deborah Lippmann, we did find! I also found more Essie polishes. Yay.
The only exciting part about buying these polishes is because they're $5.99, whereas they once retailed for $16.00
But then again, who can resist the adorable made for Juicy Couture pink little bows?
 Left: "Oh! You Pretty Things"
Right: "Pearl Queen"

I'm was pretty excited to find these two little bottles because "Naked" now has two new friends!

Deborah Lippmann makes the prettiest nail polish bottles!

The Essie purple is called "Bangle Jangle," and I'm pretty sure the green is "Absolutely Shore."  The name label was missing when I bought it last weekend from the TJ Maxx in Kent. Essie polishes were $3.99, so I can't really complain there!  The Kent, WA TJ Maxx also had 3 Guerlain Bronzers for $20.  There were two light shades, and one dark.  I didn't buy them because I'm saving my money for Benefit Hoola Bronzer. :D
Essie "Absolutely Shore"
I super like this shade! It's the perfect pale green creme polish color.  I like it more than Revlon "Minted."  In my mind, it's more of a sophisticated green nail polish. :)
However, the formula was pretty horrible to work with!  It was super thin, runny, and overall drove me nuts. I got super cranky while painting my nails. (Minh was asking me questions and I was not in the mood to talk!) lol I needed to concentrate on applying the polish. I allowed each coat a good amount of time to dry before applying the next, but even then I got streaks!  I had to apply 3 full coats before I could get the polish opaque.
I'm headed out to Ulta today to look for Essie "Mint Candy Apple."  Thank you for all the comments on where to find it!  I really appreciate the help. : ) I've been looking at every Target in Seattle, but I haven't come across it yet.  I've never seen MCA in person so I'm mighty excited to make a trip to Ulta!

Essie "Turquoise And Caicos"

I finally got my hands on this amazing "Tiffany" blue polish!  I'm wearing two thin coats of Essie "Turquoise & Caicos" in the photos.  The color is amazing, and the staying power is awesome!
The formula is very thin, and applies a little bit streaky in just two coats.  Essie brushes are very "skinny" so it makes applying polish a tad bit harder than OPI polishes. A third coat would help even out the polish, however it makes the turquoise shade darker and less "fresh."  I know this because I painted Vannie's nails with three coats, and it didn't look as pretty as it does with two coats...sorry Van!! lol
One of my friends says this is THE best Essie shade.  I still want to find Essie "Mint Candy Apple."  Does anyone know if it's been discontinued?  I've had a hard time finding it at Target, and the local beauty supply shops.  I usually buy Essie for around $7.79-$8 at Target, but I know you can get them for $3-4 at beauty supply shops.

I suggest giving each coat complete drying time before applying the next to avoid the "bald" spots.
The base coat was made for Turquoise & Caicos!
Seche Vite is still my go to top. : )
I do want to try the Butter London top coat once I finish my latest bottle of Seche.

You should get this color if you don't already have it in your nail polish collection. ^_^

In other news, I had another relaxing weekend at the boyfriend's parents house.  I always enjoy spending time with his family, and seeing his cousin's kids.  They're ages 4, 5, and 7.  They're super savvy iPhone users, and have introduced me to a few new game apps such as Glow Hockey, and Bubble Bust. lol

I'm also reading Fifty Shades of Freed now. :D It's so fun to discuss the book series with friends!! :D
I thought this e-card was pretty funny! Plus, it matches the turquoise theme of the blog post!

Essie "Play Date" and Luxeffects "Set in Stones"

I saw Essie "Play Date" and "Set in Stones" on my Target trip the other night. I passed on them even though I really wanted them. I couldn't stop thinking about it when I was about to redo my nails in my mom's salon...so I went to Target! lol
I love that my parent's house (well neighborhood) is literally across the street from a huge shopping center. :D Don't worry Marisa, it's not a crazy busy traffic area because they live in the suburbs of Michigan. : )
Essie "Play Date" with flash. : )
"Play Date" is a cream bright lavender purple. It's more on the pink/red side of purple rather than blue. I love this polish because it matches my blog layout!!
Add some flair with Essie Luxeffects "Set in Stone."

Can you believe that's one coat of the glitter? I didn't know Essie made such amazing glitter polish! I'm really impressed Essie! :D

I am in love with this combination! Each polish was $7.79 at my local Target.
The following are photos taken just now (at night) without flash.

You must get the glitter!! I can't get over how amazing this glitter applied on my nails.
One coat was magic!

Let me know if you picked up any polishes from Essie Luxeffects!
